This piece is hands down my favorite creation to date. The single ply linen from Italy (charcoal gray with specks of white) and superfine silk from Japan (black) were quite challenging to work with, but oh so worth the effort. The silk is "overspun" so that it forces the linen to contract and ripple for the added interest of texture. You will be reaching for this simple yet complex piece of wearable art time and time again.
