It must be April on Roanoke Island as the dogwoods are in full bloom. Annually, I take this short window of opportunity to eco print these beautiful flowers and leaves onto silk. I especially love the body of silk organza as it adds a light drape of organic color and interest. I especially love that as the dogwood flowers discharge on the black scarf, the flowers look like pink dogwood petals.
