This poncho was created by felting together gauze and Habotai silks with super soft Australian Merino wool. The piece is seamless, so it's reversible with textured Habotai silk on one side and smooth gauze silk on the other. The poncho surface was treated with rust and eco-printed leaves of eucalyptus, then overdyed with smokey gray acid dyes. This is a totally unique piece of wearable art, that earned an award of Honorable Mention in the 2020 23rd annual "Mollie Fearing Memorial Art Show".
