This wrap was created by handweaving silk noil yarn with handspun Romney wool. The wool was provided by my sweet Romney ewes "Mamie" & "Iris", whom reside at Island Farm on Roanoke Island, were shorn twice a year, their fleece was washed and handspun, all by me. I love the simple elegance of silk woven with handspun yarn, as the combination creates a lovely drape, with interesting, yet not too heavy, texture. This "winter white" wrap will be the perfect complement to anything in your wardrobe.
