It must be April on Roanoke Island as the dogwoods are in full bloom. Annually, I take this short window of opportunity to eco print these beautiful flowers and leaves onto silk. As the dogwood flowers discharge on the black scarf, the flowers look like pink dogwood petals. I especially love the body of silk organza as it adds a light drape of organic color and interest.
