This super soft and warm scarf was handwoven with luxurious Jaggerspun Wool from Maine, tencel, and silk. When washed, the wool felts but the tencel and silk do not, therefore leaving a puckering texture on the surface. The scarf was then dyed in a scrumptious color named "Cabernet".
I last made these scarves in 2012, when they were chosen to be featured in an international book of felted works, "500 Felt Objects". I often find myself coming full circle back to my favorite works.
