These eco-print silk scarves were dyed with a variety of leaves collected from Roanoke Island (aspen, blackberry, catawba, dogwood, eucalyptus, fern, ginkgo, grape, maple, oak, passion flower, pecan, rose, sassafras, sumac, tulip poplar, walnut). The plant prints were highlighted with bright acid dye colors, a technique called "medium print', which helps to bring out every detail of the leaves, for a very organic and special unique piece of wearable art.
